Pain in My Lower Back and Hip from Leaning Sideways

I spent the large part of a work day sitting on the floor in front of a household PBX control box. This is a telephone control unit that businesses use, but this one was in a house. I see them a lot in big homes. They handle multiple phone lines, let you use regular phones and you can call the other extensions and even answer door intercoms. This control box was mounted close to the floor. I leaned over sideways all day in a cramped space working with wires. I needed to call my chiropractor in San Francisco the next day, which happened to be my day off. I had not planned on spending my only day off this week being in pain, and I wanted to be ready to get that overtime I needed to pay for our daughter’s braces.
